The MediaTek Dimensity 8400 has been unveiled. At the time of writing, there are two devices expected to have the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 under the hood. MediaTek has introduced the Dimensity 7500, its latest smartphone chipset designed for mainstream devices and the successor to the Dimensity 7400. Built using a 4nm process, the Dimensity 7500 is the first MediaTek chipset to use Arm’s new C1 CPU cores. Powering the smartphone is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and it runs Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Leading the lineup is the SPARK 50 5G, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
