MediaTek has officially announced the Dimensity 9400+ as its latest flagship chipset. The MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ (3nm) uses an "All Big Core" CPU setup, combining one high-performance Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.73GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores, and four Cortex-A720 cores. MediaTek’s Frame Rate Converter 2.0+ can double the frame rate while cutting power use by up to 40%. For AI, the chip is equipped with the updated MediaTek NPU 890. MediaTek also added what it calls the “Dimensity Agentic AI Engine” to help developers create more advanced AI systems. MediaTek has unveiled today the Dimensity 9400 flagship SoC. MediaTek claims up to 35% faster single-core performance and 28% gain for multi-cores.
