Despite announcing its exit from the smartphone business, Meizu is, apparently, still on the scene. Their latest offerings, the Meizu Note 21 Series, are slated for global release, and a new “flagship AI phone”, the Meizu Lucky 08, is on the horizon. DreamSmart Group on Weibo has unveiled official posters of the Lucky 08, scheduled to launch on September 5th. The Lucky 08 features a unique circular camera module on the back and a red power button on the side. Currently, a reservation service is live for the Lucky 08 with only CNY 1.00 in China. The Meizu Lucky 08, a mid-range device, focuses heavily on AI technology is now official after being teased a couple of days ago. This device is powered by Meizu's Flyme AI OS, it features AI-powered functionalities such as automatic call answering, call summarization, and a shopping assistant that compares prices to find the best deals.
