Despite announcing its exit from the smartphone business 10, Meizu is, apparently, still on the scene. Their latest offerings, the Meizu Note 21 Series, are slated for global release, and a new “flagship AI phone”, the Meizu Lucky 08, is on the horizon.
DreamSmart Group on Weibo has unveiled official posters of the Lucky 08, scheduled to launch on September 5th.
The company also released a video teaser 10, showcasing the phone’s design. The Lucky 08 features a unique circular camera module on the back and a red power button on the side.
The phone is reportedly priced at CNY 2,000, approximately ~Php15.7K in current rates (excluding taxes and duties).
Currently, a reservation service is live for the Lucky 08 with only CNY 1.00 in China. While the design is out, the phone’s full specifications is still under wraps. A leak claims that the phone will have 6000mAh battery and runs on Flyme AIOS.
Stay tuned for more updates as the Lucky 08 launches in China on September 25th at 2:30 PM local time.
