Motorola is preparing to launch the Moto G86 5G, the successor to the Moto G85, which debuted in June 2024. For audio, the device will come equipped with dual speakers enhanced by Dolby Atmos technology, promising an immersive sound experience. Under the hood, the Moto G86 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. The smartphone will run on Android 15 out of the box and will receive two major OS upgrades along with four years of security updates. The Moto G86 5G will sport a dual-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens that also supports macro photography. On the front, a 32MP camera will handle selfies and video calls. Depending on the market, the Moto G86 5G will be available in two battery configurations: a 5,200mAh variant measuring 7.87mm in thickness and weighing 185 grams, and a larger 6,720mAh model with an 8.65mm thickness and a weight of 198 grams. Connectivity options will include 5G, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and Smart Connect features.
