Taste Profile combines listening activity across music, podcasts and audiobooks to show preferred artists, genres and listening patterns. The feature also takes note of daily habits or current interests like workout music or commuting podcasts. YouTube has introduced a new AI Playlist feature for YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium subscribers, allowing users to instantly generate personalized playlists based on an idea, mood, or genre. The feature lets users describe what they want to listen to using either voice or text, and YouTube Music’s AI will curate a playlist to match that request. This makes it easier to discover music without manually searching for songs or artists. To use AI Playlist, users on Android and iOS can head to the Library tab in the YouTube Music app, tap the “New” button, and select “AI Playlist.” From there, they can simply explain the type of music they want, such as a specific vibe, activity, or sound. Spotify now allows users to transfer playlists from other music streaming services, making it easier to switch platforms. The feature is available in the mobile app under the "Your Library" section and uses the TuneMyMusic service to copy playlists from other services without removing them from the original platform.
