San Miguel Corporation has announced to waive all toll fees at its expressways for Christmas and New Year. As reported by INQUIRER.net, tollways to waive fees include Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR), Southern Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Skyway, NAIA Expressway, and Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway. San Miguel Corporation (SMC) will be implementing cashless toll collection following the mandate from DOTr for contactless and cashless payment in toll expressways. Ang, the company already finished its system reconfiguration and added more lanes at its expressways. Implementing this measure is a priority for us because it is in line with government health regulations and it will better protect both our motorists and expressway employees,” shared Ang. Electronic Toll Collection lanes are now deployed at SMC tollways with 130 at Skyway, 134 at SLEX, 36 at NAIAX, and 58 at STAR.
