Synology, a Taiwanese company that specializes in Network Attached Storage (NAS), recently announced that it will be bringing three of their newest NAS servers in the Philippines. Meet the DiskStation DS218play, DS218j, and DS118 a trio of NAS servers geared towards homes and small offices. Last but not the least is the DiskStation DS118 which is a 1-bay NAS Tower. Panasonic has recently launched two new members of their Toughpad line of ruggedized tablets designed for "mission-critical and highly mobile workers" - the Windows 8 Pro-powered Toughpad FZ-G1, and the Android Toughpad JT-B1. Panasonic wants a share of the buzz at the Mobile World Congress with the announcement of their new flagship phone, the Eluga Power. DICT-Cordillera Regional Director Jimmicio Daoaten said this: “As we continue in building a Bagong Pilipinas, the DICT remains committed to creating a digitally empowered nation where no Filipino, no Cordilleran is left behind."
