Nokia 1, the previous entry-level smartphone brought by HMD Global, now gets a software update. HMD Global chief product officer Juho Sarvikas announced on his Twitter the rollout of the Android 10 (Go Edition) update in Nokia 1 to select Asian markets. As a Go Edition device, the Nokia 1 now features a plethora of pre-installed and reimagined Google apps. HMD Global shared that by July 12, about 100% Nokia 1 users will receive the software update. Launched in 2018, the Nokia 1 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display. HMD Global has announced a price discount promo on select Nokia smartphones this rainy season.
