Announced back in April, the Nokia E5 is the latest E-series smartphone and now available in stores and has a suggested retail price of Php14,950. The Nokia E5 can be considered the smartphone equivalent of the Nokia C3 featurephone (only with 3G) or the successor to the Nokia E72. Nokia E5 2.36" display @ 320 x 240 pixels ARM 11 600MHz processor 250MB internal memory 256MB RAM up to 32GB via microSD (2GB included) HSDPA 10.2 Mbps; HSUPA 2.0 Mbps Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, UPnP & DLNA technology Bluetooth 2.0 w/ A2DP 5MP fixed-focus camera w/ LED flash Symbian OS v9.3, Series 60 rel. 3.2 FM Radio Tuner GPS w/ aGPS support Li-Ion battery 1200mAh And unlike the Nokia E71 and E72, the Nokia E5 is being released at a much lower price of Php14,950 (the former models came out with a retail price above Php20,000). The Nokia E51 first came out in September last year, it already got my attention. The Nokia E51 is a business/productivity phone so expect good connectivity options -- WiFi and 3.5G or HSDPA (3.6MBps). For a retail price of Php12,300, this unit is a great buy -- probably the cheapest full-featured business phone that went out of Nokia's doors. New owners of the Nokia E51 can't go wrong with this phone. Read more in our articles including "Nokia E5 out and priced" and "Google announces Pause Point feature".
