The country's top telcos, Globe Telecom and Smart Communications, recently passed NTC's Quality of Service (Qos) Benchmarking Tests for the second quarter of this year. According to NTC's results, Globe improved to 1.46% from 2.6% (lower is better) while Smart fell back a bit at 1.26% from 0.87%. NTC also tested for dropped call rates, Average Receive Signal Level, Average Signal Quality, and Call Set Up Time which Globe and Smart also passed.
