The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has started testing the internet speeds of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) since September last year. However, after 3 months of collecting speed results of subscribers across Metro Manila, the NTC still got unreliable results because data were sorely lacking. The results are based on millions of real user tests collected through Speedtest. The most noticeable addition is a built-in network speed test.
