NVIDIA has announced Halos for Robotics. Agility Robotics is the first company to adopt the platform which integrates NVIDIA Halos technologies into its Digit humanoid robot. NVIDIA Halos includes industrial-grade AI computing through NVIDIA IGX Thor. Nvidia has released Chat with RTX, a demo app that lets users run a personal AI chatbot on their PCs. Readers should know that Nvidia isn’t making this available as a polished app that should be used already. NVIDIA has just announced a long-term strategic partnership with Jaguar Land Rover. Starting 2025, all new Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles will be built on the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion platform which uses AI to deliver a wide spectrum of active safety, driver assistance, automated driving, and self-parking capabilities. Jaguar Land Rover will also leverage in-house developed data centre solutions with NVIDIA DGX for training AI models and DRIVE Sim software built on NVIDIA Omniverse for real-time physically accurate simulation.
