Apple is set to finally embrace OLED displays for its MacBook Pro lineup, but the wait may continue for a couple of years. Per Taiwanese research firm TrendForce, Apple purportedly encouraged its suppliers to scale up investments toward OLED displays designed for laptops. The firm also claims that Apple eyes to utilize OLED panels for its MacBooks between 2026 and 2027.
