Each has PayMaya accounts linked to their Manila City ID cards. To empower local governments with the right digital financial services tools which they can use to improve their services, Paymaya has recently launched the LGUs Embracing and Accelerating Digitalization Program (LEAD). Among the cities in NCR which adapted PayMaya's digital payment solutions are Caloocan, Mandaluyong, Manila, Pasig, Quezon City, and Valenzuela. As of this writing, PayMaya has disbursed over PHP 1.4 billion to beneficiaries as part of the social amelioration programs of various LGUs for the COVID-19 pandemic.
