PLDT has silently implemented new monthly caps for its Home Ultera plans, now with bigger monthly usage allowances but with auto-disconnection once you use it up. PLDT Home Ultera now has the following monthly usage allowances: The new allowances look good especially if you're a heavy user but here's the catch - you will be automatically temporarily disconnected once you use up your data allowance, unlike before when the ISP will just slow down your internet speed. To make things easier, we’ve put together a comprehensive comparison of the postpaid fiber internet plans offered by the major telco companies in the Philippines — namely PLDT, Globe, Sky, and Converge. You may also notice the “speed boost,” particularly from PLDT, offering significantly faster speeds compared to other ISPs’ plans in the same price range. As for PLDT and Converge, they offer Netflix bundles either in separate plans or as an “add-on” to customers’ existing internet plans.
