The POCO X2 received a lot of hype before its launch, as it was the first smartphone that POCO was going to release after becoming an independent brand. However, the POCO X2 turned out to be a rebrand of the China-released Redmi K30. During a Zoom meeting with fans, POCO India General Manager C Manmohan revealed that the upcoming POCO F2 would not be a Redmi K30 Pro rebrand. Manmohan also explained that the POCO F2 would be more expensive than the POCO F1's INR 20,000 (or PHP 13,000) launch price. C Manmohan also revealed that POCO is developing TWS earbuds after asking POCO fans what new product they would want last week. Looks like Xiaomi's Pocophone already has a successor to their F1 smartphone, as the Pocophone F2 has recently appeared on Geekbench. Looking at the system information from Geekbench, the Pocophone F2 is seen running on Android 9.0 Pie with 6GB of RAM. However, its position is already being challenged by a recently announced device, the POCO F1, that can compete head-to-head with it.
