Last year 2020 we got our hands on the POCO M3 that sure was an upgrade from its predecessor, and now we finally got the POCO M3 Pro version and it’s equipped with triple rear cameras, a 90Hz refresh rate display, and a 5G capable MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. Feeling light to grip, the POCO M3 Pro 5G has a 3D-curved glossy polycarbonate back with a noticeable POCO branding below its triple camera module. Similar to the non-pro POCO M3, it’s sealed with Gorilla Glass 3 for protection, but as one of the upgrades, this M3 Pro now has a DynamicSwitch 90Hz refresh rate option that automatically adjusts between 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz, and 30Hz—whichever is recommended. As for internals, the POCO M3 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 that supports 5G connectivity, of course. Battery-wise, it packs a large 5000mAh capacity, which is weirdly smaller compared to the POCO M3 non-pro version’s 6000mAh capacity. We’ll dive deeper into this department in our full review, but for now, take a look at the few sample photos we got: The POCO M3 Pro 5G will be available in two variants, the 4GB + 64GB is officially priced at Php8,990, while the higher 6GB + 128GB has a price of Php11,990.
