Chip manufacturer Qualcomm is reportedly launching a new Snapdragon 7 chipset during a product launch to be held on March 17, 2023. Reports have surfaced saying that the product launch will likely unveil Qualcomm's new SM7475 chip which has been recently listed on Geekbench. According to SeekDevice, the chip will most likely be called the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 or Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 and will seem to rival the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in terms of performance. Aside from the new Snapdragon 7-series launch, Qualcomm recently announced that it would offer the first commercially deployable iSIM or integrated SIM on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. On board, it uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and OnePlus says it brings noticeable speed gains over the last generation.
