#Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was officially launched end of 2021 and has created a new perspective when it comes to flagship phones. Qualcomm calls it the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. Qualcomm claims the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 offers 10 percent faster CPU performance, `10 percent faster GPU clocks, and utilizes 15 percent power consumption for nearly an hour of extra gameplay. Additionally, Qualcomm unveils the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 that is targeted at gamers with 20 percent graphic performance boost versus the previous generation and trickled-down features like the Adreno Frame Motion Engine making games smoother through interpolating frames. Some familiar names that are up for release with the latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 are Asus ROG, Black Shark, Honor, iQOO, Lenovo, Motorola, Nubia, OnePlus, OPPO, OSOM, realme, RedMagic, Redmi, vivo, Xiaomi, and ZTE. Meanwhile, Honor, Oppo, and Xiaomi have signed up for the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 with Qualcomm revealing that the phones will be seen within weeks. Qualcomm has confirmed that it will be hosting its Snapdragon Night event which is set to take place on May 20. The announcement comes with expectations of both the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 platforms being unveiled.
