AMD has announced their latest graphics card built using the new Vega GPU architecture - the Radeon Vega Frontier Edition. The AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition is designed for high-end applications such as Machine Learning, Advanced Visualization, and Game Design and 360 VR Workflow, to name a few. AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition key specs: Compute units: 64 Single precision compute performance (FP32): 13 TFLOPS Half precision compute performance (FP16): 25 TFLOPS Pixel Fillrate: 90 Gpixels/sec Memory capacity: 16 GBs of High Bandwidth Cache Memory bandwidth: 480 GBs/sec Pricing is yet to be announced but it's slated to arrive in late June. In the wake of the announcement of the Radeon R9 285, a lot of third-party manufacturers have begun showcasing their own take on the new Tonga-based GPU. One of which is TUL Corporation who just unveiled the new PowerColor Radeon R9 285 TurboDuo OC graphics card. In line with the celebration of its “30 years of Gaming and Graphics”, AMD has announced the latest addition to its R9 200 Series portfolio, the Radeon R9 285, which is touted to replace the R9 280 as the least expensive of the three Radeon R9 GPUs. Looking at its specs sheet, the new Radeon R9 285 does have some advantage over the R9 280 like higher memory frequency and significantly lower TDP.
