Meta has introduced the second generation of its smart eyewear lineup, the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 AI Glasses. The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 features updated cameras capable of recording 3K Ultra HD video along with a 12MP ultra-wide photo camera. The glasses keeps its lightweight design and come in multiple Ray-Ban frame styles and color options. The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 AI Glasses start at USD 379 in the United States. Meta is reportedly preparing to launch new Ray-Ban smart glasses designed for people who wear prescription lenses, according to recent reports. The report says Meta is working on two designs, one rectangular and one rounded, both made for users who need vision correction. While current Ray-Ban smart glasses already allow prescription lenses, these new versions are said to be built specifically for that purpose. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg earlier said that many people already wear glasses and that AI glasses could become common in the future.
