In their press release, Razer raves about the Firefly’s Chroma lighting feature which gives the mousepad 16.8 million color options for virtually unlimited color customization, as well as a handful of lighting effects to boot such as glow, pulse and wave just to name a few. To further up the ante, the Razer Firefly’s lighting effects and color can be synced with other Chroma-imbued gaming peripherals like the Deathstalker and DeathAdder. And, most importantly, Razer is asking a premium for the Firefly which will be retailed for USD59.99 once it hits the shelves in June. Razer has unveiled the Firefly V2 Pro, the world’s first full-blown illuminated LED backlit gaming mat, the company claims. Price and availability At PHP 6,990 (via Razer’s official website), the Firefly V2 Pro comes at a premium. The Razer Edge 64GB model which sports an Intel Core i5 3317U 1.7 GHz, 1GB DDR3 NVIDIA GT 640M LE GPU, and 4GB of RAM is originally priced at $999.99 but can now be purchased for $729.99. The Razer Blade will have a retail price of USD$2799.99 when it is released in the US be 4th quarter of this year.
