realme has officially launched the latest smartphones under the 8 series in India— the realme 8s 5G and realme 8i. The realme 8s 5G sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor, up to 8GB of RAM (with an extra 5GB of virtual RAM), 128GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. On the other hand, the realme 8i features a 6.6-inch FHD+display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Helio G96 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. On the other hand, the realme 8i comes in a 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variant and is priced at INR 13,999 and INR 15,999, respectively. OPPO's Realme sub-brand has unveiled the Realme 2, sporting mid-range hardware and a huge battery to boot. The Realme 2 is a lot less powerful than the Realme 1 with a Snapdragon 450 on board and features the OPPO F7's diamond back in three different colors. Realme may also bring this device to Southeast Asia and the Middle East as it plans to expand its business later this year. OPPO's sub-brand, Realme, will be announcing a new smartphone soon called the Realme 2 but its image renders leak ahead of launch.
