OPPO’s Realme sub-brand has unveiled the Realme 2, sporting mid-range hardware and a huge battery to boot.

The Realme 2 is a lot less powerful than the Realme 1 with a Snapdragon 450 on board and features the OPPO F7’s diamond back in three different colors. It also features a notch in its 6.2-inch display. One can say that this is another version of the OPPO A5 with its 4,230mAh battery and improve battery capabilities with its built-in AI Power manager. OPPO claims up to 44 hours of call time, 18 hours of music playback and up to 10 hours of gaming with the device.

The Realme 2 will be available in India starting September 12 with prices at INR8,990 (~Php6,900) and INR 10,990 (~Php8,400) for the 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB variants, respectively. Realme may also bring this device to Southeast Asia and the Middle East as it plans to expand its business later this year.
