AMD has announced the new Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, a high-end desktop processor with dual 3D V-Cache, offering up to 208MB of total cache. The Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 comes with 16 cores and 32 threads. The main highlight of the processor is its dual 3D V-Cache design. AMD said the processor is unlocked for overclocking and uses second-generation 3D V-Cache, which helps manage heat while keeping performance stable. There is no official price yet, but the processor is expected to be in the high-end range. AMD has announced their lineup of new mobile processers called the Ryzen 8040 codenamed Hawk Point. The AMD Ryzen 8040 processors, which will be the successors to the Phoenix chipsets, consist of the 8040HS APU and its little brother, the 8040U. The Ryzen 8040 come with a built-in NPU based on AMD's XDNA, but other than that, they are similar to the Ryzen 7040 such as using a 4nm TSMC process.
