Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z TriFold for pre-order in China, priced at 19,999 Yuan (~$2,830), putting it in direct competition with Huawei’s Mate XTs in the growing tri-fold smartphone market. It is available in a black finish, and pre-orders are open through Samsung’s online store. Samsung uses an inward-folding system that protects the main screen and allows smooth hinge movement. The device runs One UI 8 based on Android 16, supports Galaxy AI features, and introduces standalone Samsung DeX for desktop-style productivity. Samsung is expected to release the device in other regions after its initial launch in China, but no timeline has been announced. Samsung Electronics showcases its latest monitor innovations at CES 2025. They've introduced the Smart Monitor, Odyssey Gaming Monitor, and ViewFinity Monitor lineups packed with AI capabilities and claims as industry-first features. It features AI Picture Optimizer that automatically adjusts display settings based on content type.
