Samsung's One UI 8 beta is available for users who have the listed device. The One UI 8 beta was announced along with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series back in May. Samsung has finally added the Galaxy A55 into its One UI 7.0 beta program. Users based in the region can sign up as beta testers by simply logging in to the Samsung Members app using the Samsung Account linked with the phone. Once logged in, simply tap the One UI 7 Beta Program (A55) > then head to Settings > Software Update to download and install the update. By offering this beta to a mid-range device like the A55, Samsung is shifting its approach, typically seen with flagship devices. Expect more regions to join the beta in the coming days as Samsung continues to refine One UI 7.0 for its mid-range phones. Its beta testing has kicked off for a while now, but a prominent tipster has shared a serious reality check, “…There are too many bugs.” While Samsung aims to significantly overhaul One UI 7, especially in terms of animations, these changes are likely to introduce a host of bugs and performance issues.
