Details about the Samsung Exynos 1480 have been unveiled, a week after the only phone with this chipset was released. The Exynos 1480 has two (2) Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.75GHz and six (6) Cortex-A55 cores running at 2GHz. Next, the Exynos 1480 is paired with an Xclipse 530 GPU based on AMD RDNA architecture. Samsung noted that this chipset provides 53% faster GPU performance in comparison to last year’s Exynos 1380. Samsung has not shared information for when we’ll see another device running on the Exynos 1480.
