The report shared that approximately 14.2 million foldables were sold in 2022 with Samsung having sold over 11 million units with the rest of the competition such as Huawei, OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, HONOR, and Motorola combining for roughly only 3.2 million. This seems very likely with Samsung also reportedly wanting to sell over 15 million units of their Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 alone in 2023 and with new foldable smartphones coming in 2023 from brands such as Honor, OPPO, and Tecno. While everybody is getting frustrated with the supposed Globe iPhone 3G pricing, the Samsung Omnia will definitely be a formidable alternative to the former.
