Samsung is off to a good start with the Galaxy A8 (2018), but for those who want a beefier version of the device, the company has an answer in the form of the Galaxy A8+ (2018). Author's note: the Galaxy A8+ (2018) is almost identical to the Galaxy A8 (2018) except for the differences mentioned above. Design and Construction The Galaxy A8+ (2018) took cues from the design of its flagship cousins such as the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note8, meaning it sports an 18.5:9 display with a slim top and bottom bezels. In the hands, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) is heavier than the Galaxy A8 (2018), but of the same thickness. Display and Multimedia The Galaxy A8+ (2018) sports a 6-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 × 2220 or equal to 411ppi. Compared to the Galaxy A8 (2018), the large display makes it more enjoyable to use for gaming and watching videos. Samsung calls this the Infinity Display but doesn't have the curved edges like the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy Note8.
