Samsung has silently launched the Galaxy A8 Star, a smartphone that sports a 6.3-inch Infinity display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, and a 3,700mAh battery. Samsung announces its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 22 in London, U.K. Those who complete the reservation will receive a ₱2,000 e-voucher and a chance to win one of Samsung's latest Galaxy devices. Well, it looks like Samsung is ready to come up with a competitor through the release of the Galaxy Glasses later this year. The Galaxy Glasses will run Samsung's in-house One UI XR. Both devices are expected to officially debut at Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is heavily rumored for July 22, 2026, in London. The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G starts at Php 18,990 for the 6+128 GB variant and Php 21,990 for the 8+256 GB model. Available colors are Black, Blue, and Light Pink, with availability starting July 10 through Samsung.com, Samsung Experience and Authorized Stores, and Samsung Flagship stores at Lazada and Shopee.
