Samsung has just released an official announcement regarding the issue of unlocking the Galaxy S10 using a screen protector. Samsung issued the following statement: Regarding recent reports of a fingerprint recognition issue affecting certain Galaxy devices, we would like to inform our customers of the following information. To prevent any further issues, we advise that Galaxy Note10/10+ and S10/S10+/S10 5G users who use such covers to remove the cover, delete all previous fingerprints and newly register their fingerprints. Not one, not two, but four devices - the Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10E, and Galaxy S10 5G. For this review, we're looking at the middle, the Galaxy S10. Design and Construction One of the first things you'll notice about the Galaxy S10 is its design similarities to Note 9, but smaller. Like S9 series and Note 9 before it, the Galaxy S10 is still very premium. Compared to the Galaxy S10 Plus, the S10 is more comfortable to hold due to the smaller size.
