DXOMark has finally released its camera review for the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, managing score 122 points in between the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G and Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Premium. According to DXOMark's review, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra's primary camera produces photos with "excellent exposure, dynamic range, and color in most lighting conditions." The ultra-wide-angle, on the other hand, achieved the new top score as it was accurate in all lighting conditions with geometric distortions well corrected. "At 122 points, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra puts in a solid performance across our tests and nestles into joint 6th place alongside the Honor V30 Pro in our DXOMARK Camera ranking. Despite being just 3.9 mm thin, the TriFold delivers flagship power with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, a 200MP camera, and Samsung’s largest foldable battery yet: a 5,600mAh three-cell setup with 45W fast charging. Sony Semiconductor has officially announced the LYTIA-901, its first 200MP smartphone camera sensor, signaling a direct challenge to Samsung’s dominance in ultra-high-resolution mobile cameras. The Sony LYT-901 features a 1/1.12-inch sensor size with 0.7µm pixels, making it larger and with bigger pixels than Samsung’s 200MP Isocell HP2 sensor found in the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which uses a smaller 1/1.3-inch sensor and 0.6µm pixels.
