We finally know what Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S9 and S9+, will look like. Above the 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch screens are a pair of 8MP front cameras and a slew of sensors for Samsung's Iris Scanner. Both the S9 and S9+ will sport a 12MP camera that will reportedly have a mechanical aperture adjustment from f/2.4 to as wide as f/1.5. The S9+ adds an additional 12MP camera, but it will not have the mechanical aperture adjustment capability. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will launch on February 25 in an Unpacked event before MWC 2018 opens. Samsung announced that a joint study with Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital in Korea found that the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 can predict vasovagal syncope (VVS) or sudden fainting episodes using health data collected by the smartwatch. A joint clinical study with Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital in Korea showed the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 can detect signs of VVS using data gathered by the smartwatch.
