Samsung has recently launched a software update for its Galaxy Watch Active2. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 now comes with a standalone Running Analysis feature which allows users to see their detailed running metrics such as asymmetry, regularity, stiffness, vertical oscillation, and ground contact time for performance improvement and reducing of injuries. The latest software update also adds viewing of emoticons and photos, Smart Reply for providing a suggested response, chat history, AR Emoji Stickers, and Bitmoji Stickers.In terms of music playback, the Galaxy Watch Active2 now gives an instant access to the user's playlist from the connected smartphone. The update is now available on Bluetooth versions of the Galaxy Watch Active2, with the LTE versions following on the next days the roll out. The availability of the software update may vary by region. To enjoy the new features, users are required to download the latest version of the Galaxy Wearable app and the Galaxy Watch Active2 plugin on their smartphone. Samsung announced that a joint study with Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital in Korea found that the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 can predict vasovagal syncope (VVS) or sudden fainting episodes using health data collected by the smartwatch.
