Samsung's Android-powered clamshell-type smartphone is real and it's officially out. It's called the Samsung SCH-W789 Hennessy and sports dual-touchscreen displays and runs Android Jellybean. The Hennessy packs two 3.3-inch TFT touchscreen displays with HVGA (320 x 480) resolution, a 5 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and dual-SIM support for CDMA and GSM networks. The Samsung Hennessy is currently directed towards the Chinese market. The much awaited Omnia i900 from Samsung (see specs here) was released in the Philippines yesterday. While everybody is getting frustrated with the supposed Globe iPhone 3G pricing, the Samsung Omnia will definitely be a formidable alternative to the former. The rumored new Samsung i8510 that tows in an 8-megapixel camera and a 16GB internal storage becomes official. This new Samsung i8510 phone will be named Innovate or Innov8.
