Samsung is now in mass production of 1TB microSD cards, and is sampling 256GB SD Express microSD cards. Samsung is manufacturing the 1TB UHS-1 microSD card with eight stacking layers of its 8-gen V-NAND technology. As for the SD Express microSD cards, they have a reading speed of up to 800MB/s. Samsung has launched its new T7 and T9 microSD cards in the Philippines, replacing the company’s previous EVO-branded storage lineup. Samsung said the updated naming system is intended to simplify its microSD card lineup for consumers. The Samsung T7 microSD cards are available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants. Samsung said the cards support read speeds of up to 200MB/s and write speeds of up to 130MB/s. The new T7 and T9 microSD cards are now available through Samsung’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
