Ahead of CES 2025, Samsung has unveiled a slate of new monitors, including a mix of high-performance gaming and entertainment-focused models. Notably, while 500Hz monitors aren't new to the market, Samsung's G6 is the first to integrate QD-OLED technology, promising near-instantaneous 0.03ms response times — a game-changer for competitive play. Finally, Samsung is doubling down on AI with the new Smart Monitor M9, a 32-inch 4K OLED display that boasts "industry-first" AI features. As with Samsung's other OLED monitors, the M9 supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, ensuring vibrant colors and deep contrast. Aside from Samsung, other brands like ASUS and MSI also annonced 4K OLED monitors that use the same Samsung Display fourth generation QD-OLED technology. GameBench has released a free app called GameBench FPS Monitor, allowing Android users to check gaming performance on their devices. Samsung Electronics has maintained its position as the world’s top gaming monitor brand for the seventh consecutive year.
