Samsung is set to begin mass production of its next generation of foldable phones next month, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and, for the first time, a more affordable option, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. According to Sedaily, Samsung’s Mobile eXperience division plans to produce 240,000 units of the Z Flip 7 and 170,000 units of the Z Flip 7 FE during the second quarter of 2025. The larger Z Fold 7 will be made in smaller numbers at first (160,000 units) suggesting Samsung is banking on the Flip models, particularly the new FE variant, to carry the lineup. Historically speaking, the FE variant or the Fan Edition model is usually reserved for Samsung’s more affordable versions of its flagship phones. Three new phones were introduced that made the headlines -- the SGH G810, P960 and the Soul . Samsung has this thing with slider phones so all the 3 new ones are just that.
