Samsung has announced a new user interface for its Android devices - the One UI. The Samsung One UI boasts an intuitive and simplistic design that allows users to navigate through their devices with only one hand. To test out this new interface, Samsung launched the One UI Beta Program to allow users to experience it first-hand while giving feedbacks and suggestions at the same time. To join the program, users must be in the following countries: China France Germany India Poland South Korea Spain UK USA Interested users need to download the Samsung Members mobile application on the Google Play Store, then go to Notices and select “One UI Beta Program Registration” to submit an application. Without the iPhone, we would not have seen the likes of Samsung Instinct, Omnia i900, HTC Touch Diamond, LG Dare and Sony-Ericsson Xperia this early. I had 4 most likely candidates as a great iPhone alternative -- the HTC Touch Diamond, Nokia N96, Samsung i900 Omnia and the Sony-Ericsson Xperia.
