Samsung is finally launching a PC version of its popular mobile browser, Samsung Internet, marking its debut on desktop starting October 30. The desktop version aims to deliver a seamless experience between Samsung’s phones and PCs. Users will be able to sync bookmarks, browsing history, and Samsung Pass data across devices, creating a more unified Galaxy ecosystem similar to what Apple and Google already offer with their browsers. Samsung Internet for PC will also include Galaxy AI features, such as Browsing Assist, which can summarize and translate web pages instantly. Previously, Samsung Internet users needed a Chrome extension to sync bookmarks on desktop. With the PC beta, Samsung hopes to strengthen its software ecosystem, particularly for Galaxy Book laptops, by offering its own fully integrated browser. The Samsung Internet beta will be free to download starting October 30 for Windows users running version 10 (build 1809 or later) or Windows 11.
