That TV is the Samsung's New Lifestyle TV, the 65-inch The Frame 2020. The much awaited Omnia i900 from Samsung (see specs here) was released in the Philippines yesterday. While everybody is getting frustrated with the supposed Globe iPhone 3G pricing, the Samsung Omnia will definitely be a formidable alternative to the former. The Philippine price is pegged at Php34,000 for the 8GB version and Php38,000 for the 16GB -- unlocked and contract free (up to 32GB with external 16GB microSD card). The rumored new Samsung i8510 that tows in an 8-megapixel camera and a 16GB internal storage becomes official. I reckon that the Samsung i8510 is positioned against the Nokia N95 while the Omnia is targetted as an iPhone alternative. I thought the dual 19" 940BW at home is already a great set up until I got hold of the new 22" Samsung 2232GW LCD monitor.
