The Exynos line has always been Samsung's in-house chipset for its devices, but it appears that the latest version may not be installed in the devices we expect. Samsung has already talked about its upcoming Exynos 2500 chip before. The much awaited Omnia i900 from Samsung (see specs here) was released in the Philippines yesterday. While everybody is getting frustrated with the supposed Globe iPhone 3G pricing, the Samsung Omnia will definitely be a formidable alternative to the former. The rumored new Samsung i8510 that tows in an 8-megapixel camera and a 16GB internal storage becomes official. This new Samsung i8510 phone will be named Innovate or Innov8. I reckon that the Samsung i8510 is positioned against the Nokia N95 while the Omnia is targetted as an iPhone alternative. LCD monitors from Samsung are getting better and better.
