Samsung May Wait Even Longer To Release The Exynos 2500

Listen to article

The Exynos line has always been Samsung’s in-house chipset for its devices, but it appears that the latest version may not be installed in the devices we expect.

Samsung has already talked about its upcoming Exynos 2500 chip before. The smartphone giant has poured every resource into refining the flagship SoC, ensuring that it releases with a bang and performs up to standard.

Rumors originally mentioned that the Exynos 2500 would be making its debut with the Galaxy S25 line. However, when that came to pass, a mid-year debut with the upcoming Z Fold7 and Flip7 was the general consensus among the tech community.

Some outlets are reporting that the brand may not just make it in time, though. This would mean that the highly-awaited flagship chip may be appearing for the first time in the rumored Galaxy Z Flip FE, which would likely indicate a Q4 release.

Another question that raises is if placing the brand’s latest-and-greatest chipset in an FE device is the way to go. After all, if the brand has taken this much time and care into producing a processor that beats out its brilliant predecessor, the Exynos 2400 in the Galaxy S24 line, then why not place it in a top-shelf device?

We’ll have to wait and see until we have more information.
