Samsung has expanded the Tizen ecosystem with the introduction of the entry-level Z4 smartphone with a 4.5-inch display and 4G LTE. Samsung says that the Z4 comes with features that are perfect for first-time smartphone users like quick shortcuts that can be accessed by physical buttons, via display by swiping, or through voice activated commands. The Samsung Z4 will also be showcased at the Tizen Developer Conference in San Francisco, California May 16-17, 2017. The much awaited Omnia i900 from Samsung (see specs here) was released in the Philippines yesterday. While everybody is getting frustrated with the supposed Globe iPhone 3G pricing, the Samsung Omnia will definitely be a formidable alternative to the former. The rumored new Samsung i8510 that tows in an 8-megapixel camera and a 16GB internal storage becomes official. This new Samsung i8510 phone will be named Innovate or Innov8. I reckon that the Samsung i8510 is positioned against the Nokia N95 while the Omnia is targetted as an iPhone alternative.
