ABS-CBN's cable company services SKYcable and SKY Fiber continue to operate and serve its subscribers nationwide. James Dumlao, SKY Cable Corporation's head of Programming, clarifies that the services are not covered by the cease and desist order issued by the National Telecommunications Commission. To make things easier, we’ve put together a comprehensive comparison of the postpaid fiber internet plans offered by the major telco companies in the Philippines — namely PLDT, Globe, Sky, and Converge. Weirdly enough, SKY’s TruFiber plans’ speed boosts aren’t anything special because they’re not actually faster than the competition. SKY has two main lineups under its TruFiber service, starting at Plan 999 with 75 Mbps — which actually sounds better than PLDT’s Unli Fiber Plan 899 that offers only 35 Mbps. However, this only applies to new customers who avail SKY TruFiber plans until May 31, 2025.
