SKY has recently partnered with the Department of Education’s regional divisions for airing DepEd TV programs on cable. Under the agreement, SKY will give DepEd TV a dedicated channel on cable. Through the DepEd TV programs, the department aims to present lecture classes by carefully selected broadcaster-teachers in the country. SKY's previous initiative in education was airing lessons in Filipino, Math, Science, English, and Araling Panlipunan for the First Quarter from Kinder to Grade 10 and the Alternative Learning System through Knowledge Channel.
