Messenger Day works similar to Instagram Stories or Snapchat Stories. Instagram has introduced a new feature called Instagram Stories that lets you share all the moments of your day and will disappear after 24 hours. Users won't have to worry about over-posting as all those photos and videos will disappear after 24 hours and won’t appear on your profile grid or in feed - similar to Snapchat Stories. Instagram Stories from people you follow will appear in a bar at the top of your feed. Instagram Stories will be rolling out globally over the next few weeks on iOS and Android. Instagram users can now cross-post their Instagram Stories to Facebook Stories, making it easier for users to share their moments with friends on both platforms. The feature is now available for users in the US, a month after it rolled out in Portugal for testing. With cross-posting support, users can share their Instagram Stories on Facebook that will show up as part of Facebook Stories. However, doing the reverse is currently not supported. Facebook Stories and Instagram Stories share the same rule of allowing users to share content to the public but will disappear after 24 hours.
