Sony has recently announced a high-precision Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver LSIs to be equipped in its future IoT and wearable devices. The latest receiver LSIs give a more stable, more improve high-precision tracking even under difficult conditions. Sony claims that its latest hardware has the lowest power consumption for dual-band positioning at only 9mW. The new signal method also supports both L1 and L5 GHz band, with the latter giving support to dual-band positioning for more stable connectivity.
